Industrial Biotechnology

Mission:
The biotech applications not falling under the label of “agrifood” or “healthcare” sectors are grouped under the heading of industrial biotechnology - or white biotechnology, as opposed to the red one – healthcare - or green one -agrifood-). This sector is very diverse and their companies are devoted to, among other activities: bioenergy, bioremediation, biomaterials, industrial bioprocessing, etc. The Group was born with the wish to foster the introduction of sustainable bioprocesses in different industrial sectors and to act as ASEBIO representative in the Spanish Platform for Sustainable Chemistry.
Latest activities:
Participation in the activities of SUSCHEM, the Spanish Platform for Sustainable Chemistry. Developing a PIPELINE with a descriptive card of companies belonging to the Working Group
