Tecnic Bio is an R&D and engineering company specialized in the development, improvement and scaling-up of biotechnological processes for the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic sectors. Tecnic Bio can accompany and advise its clients from the initial stages of product design, through the scaling-up of the production process and up to the production phase.
Bioprocess design, development and optimization
Tecnic Bio has modern R&D laboratories where it can develop and improve its clients' processes. Tecnic Bio offers its clients a cell culture laboratory and a microbial culture laboratory fully equipped and with the capabilities to develop bioprocesses of up to 20L of culture.
Bioprocess scale-up and pilot production
By the end of 2020 Tecnic Bio will offer its clients a process scale-up service up to a culture volume of 1,000L in its pilot plants (cell culture and microbial). This pilot plants, despite not being certified by regulatory agents, will be able to operate under conditions equivalent to GMP in class C (ISO 7) clean rooms.
Tecnic Bio therefore can accompany its clients in the development and optimization of bioprocesses in its laboratories as well as in the scaling-up in its pilot plants. Tecnic Bio can subsequently advise and accompany its clients in the technology transfer to their certified GMP production plants or third parties (CMOs) ones.
Bioprocess equipment selection and development
Tecnic Bio can help its clients to find the equipment that best fits their project. Tecnic Bio has a deep understanding of the entire bioprocess equipment market and can provide its clients with any type of equipment they need. In case it is not possible to find a standard equipment that perfectly matches the project, or it has any special needs, Tecnic bio can also help to develop or personalize any type of novel equipment. Tecnic bio has access to all the sources and knowledge of its parent company, TECNIC, a renamed bioprocess equipment manufacturer with extensive experience in the Pharma, Cosmetic and Biotech industries.
