The Biotechnology Business Incubator was created by the regional goverment Junta de Castilla y León in collaboration with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). This agency attached to the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities provides technical support to laboratories and collaborates with companies, hospitals and research and technology centres.
