Cell Culture Laboratory Technician
ZeClinics is HIRING a Cell Culture Laboratory Technician!
ZeClinics offers an exciting opportunity for a research assistant to be part of the team, whose mission is to tailor cutting-edge science and technology to empower biomedical research and personalized medicine. We are opening a new department where, by combining excellence from different disciplines in natural science, engineering and informatics, we will provide outsourcing research tools for modeling neuropsychiatric disease with relevant human translatability. DUTIES:
- Human pluripotent stem cell culture and reprogramming.
- Generation of reporter lines using CRISPR/Cas9.
- Generation of novel 3D cell cultures like organoids.
- Support the Project Managers in the establishment of novel protocols.
- Perform the experimental tasks related to both scientific services offered by the company to third parties and research and development pipelines.
- Analyze the data generated from experimental approaches and support project managers in redacting reports.
- Planning, organization, and coordination of lab duties.
- Support the Lab manager in organizing stocks, orders, and storage of material and products/reagents.
- Organize the data derived from the experiments and lab books to ensure full traceability of results.
- Support quality validation following GLP-like and GLP regulations and drafting SOPs.
STUDIES:
Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (and equivalent) in biotechnology, biology, biomedical laboratory science, or a related discipline will be necessary.
EXPERIENCE TO VALUE:
- Experience with eukaryotic cell culture technologies and life cell assays will be essential.
- Experience in maintaining, manipulating, and differentiating human iPSC will be an asset.
- Proven experience in cellular and molecular biology will be essential
- Experience in the field of microscopy or flow cytometry will be positively valued.
- Knowledge in the neuroscience field, as well as neuropsychiatric disease biology, will be positively evaluated.
- Previous experience in Quality Management systems, the regulatory field, and the GLP environment will be positively valued.
- Good documentation skills and good documentation practice.
- A goal-oriented and resilient personality who brings projects to success with proactive team effort
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Ability to work independently and interact with several collaborators.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strict attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
LANGUAGES
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, will be essential.
- Spanish/Catalan will be positively evaluated.
- The ability to speak, read and write in other languages (i.e., Italian, French, Japanese, and German) will be a plus.
