MOA Foodtech combines biotechnology and artificial intelligence to transform waste and by-products of the agri-food industry into a '' next generation protein '' with high nutritional value and sustainable.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- University degree in Food Science or relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in the food industry (Ideally: experience with plant-based products).
- Advanced knowledge in food chemistry, protein chemistry, ingredient functionality and interactions, food processing techniques.
- Knowledge of European food safety regulations, legislations and labelling.
- Strong knowledge in food quality assurance and packaging.
- Proven track record of launching food products to the market would be highly desirable.
- Ability to understand market trends.
- Preferably with experience in ingredient manufacturing.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and a team player.
- Availability to travel.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES:
As a key member of the Product Team, you will be tasked with:
- Design, conduct and analyze functionality tests of ingredients.
- Development of new formulations, products and process specifications.
- Execute analytical, sensory and shelf-life tests.
- Lead external partnerships and commercial projects.
- Support to the rest of the teams and adapt to project priorities.
- Collaborating with research institutions to conduct analytical as well as nutritional testing.
- Ensure compliance with food laws and regulations.
- Other assigned tasks as needed
