We currently have the following vacancy:
Position: Head of Microbiology & Bioprocess (Senior PhD)
Workplace: Carretera Bética 163, San José de la Rinconada, 41300, Sevilla
What do you need to join us? (Indispensable requirements)
- Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Be in possession of a doctoral degree in a relevant branch related to bioprocesses or fermentation
- At least 5 years of previous experience in the management of bioreactors at laboratory and pilot scale (industrial scale experience could be a plus)
- Experience in the design of experiments in a bioreactor, material and energy balances
- In-depth knowledge of microbiology techniques and microbial physiology
- Experience in project management
- Personnel management skills
- Availability to travel (5-10% time)
- Command in oral and written English
- Possibility of moving the address to Seville or surroundings

- Experience in production of recombinant proteins
- Experience in revaluation of by-products through fermentation
- Experience in the production of PGPR biostimulants
- Experience in the production of probiotics
- Communication skills/client management
- Proficiency in other languages

- Management of the scientific strategy of the company
- Design and support in execution of experimental tests
- Analysis and quality assurance of the results
- Project management with customers and project drafting
- Preparation of technical reports
- Technological surveillance
- Development of continuous improvement and optimization strategies
