For our R&D department we are looking for an Inmunoassays Senior Manager. You will be responsible for the Design and Development of immunoassay IVD tests following Design Control procedures in the R&D area.

Your Responsabilities

You will have the opportunity to:

• Manage a team of Scientists who will be in charge of the projects of the department.
• Participate in meetings with other departments in order to find out new opportunities of research and development into the market.
• Assess clinical practice of the tool to develop, for external and internal customer.
• Manage and supervise the fulfillment of objectives, programs, plans and policies of the area, coordinating the resources given by the R&D Director and establishing control parameters.
• New products development.
• Comply with all company policies and SOPs as well as regulatory requirements for the design, analysis and reporting of research projects and products under ISO13485 and 21CFR820.
• Work with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) materials such as viruses, bacteria and/or human clinical specimens (e.g. serum and plasma).
• Participate in general lab maintenance.
• Prepare experiment and product documentation including summary reports.
• Write SOPs and assemble batch records.
• Research new methods and train laboratory personnel.
• Collaborate with regulatory, QC and manufacturing.

Your Profile

• You have a PhD in Life Sciences or related field. MSc may be considered with additional years of experience.
• You have a minimum of five years of laboratory experience with proven hands-on technical abilities in immunoassay development, antibody-based platform test and evaluation.
• You have a proven experience in management of research projects, including training of other scientists, lab associates, and support personnel, analyzing data, and writing reports.
• Industry experience within the protein field, including experience with quality systems, is desired. 
• You speak fluent English.
• You are a team player and proactive.
