Job description

We are seeking a motivated Scientist to contribute to the molecular characterization of editing and insertional events of novel tools for gene therapeutic solutions. 

The candidate will participate in a highly translational project with interactions with academic institutions, industry and clinicians. 

Expected starting date: December 2024.

Requirements

• PhD in biology, biotechnology, genetics, experimental or health sciences. 
• Relevant laboratory experience in molecular biology, genome engineering, nucleic acid analysis and/or gene editing. 
• Extensive experience in custom library-prep for NGS, qPCR and ddPCR. 
• Curiosity and motivation in applied genetic engineering and synthetic biology and its translational intro clinic. 
• Prevoius experience in excellent execution and project management of highly competitive research projects. 
• Good time management and communication skills. 
• Excellent team player who enjoys working in a fast-evolving research environment.
