At TECNIC, we are a leading company in the design and manufacturing of machinery for biological processes, specializing in the production of bioreactors and tangential flow filtration (TFF) systems. Our products are used in pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and other industries related to the research and production of biological products.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations for the design of bioreactors and TFF systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations (ASME and pressure equipment regulations).
- Collaborate with the technical office team in the design and development of new products, optimizing their performance, reliability, and safety.
- Conduct strength, fatigue, and lifespan analyses of mechanical components to ensure their structural integrity.
- Participate in the selection of materials and suppliers for machinery projects.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality, to ensure the successful implementation of the designs.
Requirements:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, designing machinery for biological processes.
- Deep knowledge of ASME codes and pressure equipment regulations.
- Experience using simulation tools, preferably with the ANSYS program.
- Experience using SolidWorks or CAD.
- Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate with different departments.
- Knowledge of technical English for reading documentation.
- Tolerance for working under pressure.
