BePharma Institute Strengthens Networking and Applied Training in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industry
BePharma Institute, a school specialising in training for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, held three in-person events in Madrid and Barcelona during May and June 2026, with the aim of bridging the gap between industry professionals and the students and young talent seeking to enter or grow within the sector.
Over the course of May and June 2026, BePharma Institute organised three in-person initiatives that reflect its commitment to applied training, quality networking and knowledge transfer between active professionals and emerging talent in the sector.
Speed Dating by Department · Pharmaceutical Industry
The first event was the Speed Dating by Department for the Pharmaceutical Industry, held in Madrid. Under an innovative format, attendees had the opportunity to spend 15 minutes with professionals currently working in different departments of pharmaceutical companies, including Clinical Trials, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing and Pharmacovigilance.
The aim of the event was straightforward: to offer participants real, unscripted conversations where they could freely ask about the inner workings of the sector. The format proved a resounding success, generating professional connections that would have been unlikely to occur in a conventional setting.
1st Congress on AI Applied to the Pharmaceutical Industry
In June, BePharma Institute organised the First Congress on Artificial Intelligence Applied to the Pharmaceutical Industry, a pioneering event in Spain that brought together industry professionals in Madrid to examine the real impact of AI on industrial processes, research and drug development.
The congress featured keynote talks, practical workshops with real-world application cases and a round table discussion on the return on investment of AI projects within the pharmaceutical regulatory environment. The event established itself as a reference point for those leading the digital transformation of the sector in Spain.
Speed Dating by Department · Cosmetic Industry
Closing the first half of the year, BePharma Institute brought the Speed Dating format to Barcelona, this time with the cosmetic industry as the main focus. The event featured professionals from companies including Toskani, Mesoestetic and Revlon, representing areas such as Formulation, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Sales and Human Resources.
Prior to the Speed Dating rounds, the Spanish Society of Cosmetic Chemistry (SEQC) opened the afternoon with a conference on the present and future of the cosmetic sector in Spain, providing the strategic context needed to enrich the subsequent conversations.
These three events consolidate BePharma Institute's model as a school that goes beyond the classroom: an active community that connects emerging talent with the professionals shaping the future of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry in Spain.
