The BIOSPAIN 2026 Talent Day will strengthen the connection between companies and professionals to drive the future of biotechnology.
The initiative, which will take place on 1 October, will provide an exclusive space for companies and candidates to connect directly, explore new career opportunities, and address the main talent challenges in the biotech sector.
Talent is one of the fundamental pillars underpinning biotechnology innovation. In a sector characterised by its high level of specialisation and its ability to transform knowledge into high-impact solutions, attracting, developing and retaining qualified professionals has become a strategic factor to ensure competitiveness and growth. This makes this initiative a response to one of the sector’s main needs: facilitating access to specialised talent in a context of growing demand for scientific, technical and management profiles.
With the aim of contributing to the strengthening of the sector’s human capital, the Talent Day will take place within the framework of BIOSPAIN 2026, which will be held from 29 September to 1 October at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. This event is designed to directly connect companies, professionals and HR managers in an environment focused on creating opportunities and fostering connections between talent and the industry.
Registration for HR teams is already open, while candidates will be able to register from 6 July onwards.
A space to connect talent and opportunities
Talent Day will offer participating companies a unique opportunity to showcase their job openings, identify qualified candidates and meet in person the professionals who can contribute to the growth of their organisations. At the same time, candidates will be able to highlight their skills, experience and professional background, while gaining first-hand insight into the current and future needs of the biotechnology industry.
In addition to the interviews, the event will feature content focused on talent attraction, development and retention within the biotech sector.
Participation will be free of charge for both HR teams and candidates. Through the official BIOSPAIN 2026 platform, companies will be able to post job vacancies and professionals will be able to submit their applications, facilitating the scheduling of one-to-one interviews ahead of the event.
To ensure an efficient and streamlined process, dedicated fully equipped spaces will be available for pre-arranged 20-minute face-to-face interviews coordinated through the event platform.
In addition, all job offers published on the platform will be reviewed to ensure compliance with fair labour standards, helping to promote high-quality career opportunities across the sector.
Through this initiative, BIOSPAIN 2026 reaffirms its commitment to talent as a key driver of growth in biotechnology, creating a space where companies and professionals can connect, explore opportunities and build the future of the sector together.
