Batea Oncology and dsm-firmenich Partner to Support Clinical Development of GlioHook® for Glioblastoma
Batea Oncology and dsm-firmenich are building on a longstanding collaboration dedicated to advancing GlioHook®, an innovative mechanomedicine-based medical device being developed for glioblastoma treatment.
The milestone reflects years of scientific partnership between Batea Oncology and dsm-firmenich's biomaterials experts, bringing together complementary expertise in innovation, biomaterials science, manufacturing, and clinical development.
Since Batea Oncology's founding, the company has worked closely with the Biomedical division of dsm-firmenich to support the evolution of GlioHook® from concept through preclinical development and now toward clinical evaluation. Together, both organizations have combined expertise in mechanomedicine, biomaterials, and medical device development to help advance a novel approach for glioblastoma treatment.
GlioHook® is being developed as an innovative mechanomedicine-based medical device for glioblastoma, one of the most challenging forms of brain cancer. By combining Batea Oncology's scientific vision with dsm-firmenich Biomedical’s advanced expertise in collagen and polymer technologies, the collaboration aims to explore new possibilities in the treatment of this devastating disease.
