Business Analyst -Inveready Life Sciences

Inveready is a Venture Capital and Private Equity Company with €1.1Bn Assets under Management. We provide different types of financing for start ups and growth companies in technology and high growth companies:

1. Information Technology Venture Capital. Provides Equity and Convertible Debt for seed stage technology companies
2. Life Sciences Venture Capital. Provides Equity and Convertible Debt for Seed to Series A Life Sciences Companies in Therapeutics and Growth capital to CDMOs, Enabling Technologies, Consumer Health and commercial companies.
3. Venture Debt. Provides Venture Debt for Growth Companies
4. Convertible Debt. Provides convertible loans and bonds for companies listed in alternative markets in Europe.
5. Infrastructure. Provides financing for Telecom Infrastructure companies
6. Private Equity. Provides private equity for growth companies
7. The Life Sciences Vertical has a current portfolio of 30+ companies. We receive about 300 Life
8. Sciences business plans and invest in about 5 companies per year. We have closed our fourth
9. Life Sciences Fund at 53M€. We will be deploying this capital over the next 5 years with a goal of investing in 20+companies.

The current Life Sciences Team is composed of 3 partners and 2 Investment Directors.

The candidate will support the Life Sciences Team in their day-to-day business in all areas of investing, managing and divesting. He or she will have the opportunity to grow in the organization.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Economics or Business Administration and a Masters in Innovative Companies Management or an MBA and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Ideally, he or she has 2 years of work experience in the Life Sciences sector (pharma, Investment or otherwise). He or she is a highly motivated independent thinker as well as a team player, able to work under pressure.

The candidate will assist the investment Team in the following activities:

• Source and Screen Deal Flow within Spain
• Analyse Business Investment Opportunities and assist in making investment recommendations
• Analyse different Investment Sectors, provide Market analysis and produce internal reports on Healthcare and Life Sciences investments, advanced therapies, CDMO market, etc.
• Provide summaries of up-to-date research and development in Therapeutic development, diagnostic, etc.
• Create and keep logs of M&A transactions, investments by VCs,
• Provide Market Reports and mapping of Healthcare and Biomedical VCs and investors in Europe.
• Prepare Presentations for the Investment Committee
• Assist in Portfolio company follow up and reporting
• Maintain databases on portfolio companies

Compensation according to experience and value.
