Biotechnology emerges as a deep tech that is transforming the world through multiple technologies, addressing global challenges in various fields such as health or planet sustainability. This is why the market for its innovative products and specialized services is also global, positioning internationalization as one of the major challenges faced by biotechnology companies.

Therefore, AseBio organizes major events such as BIOSPAIN, the AseBio Investor Day, and the Green Innovation Forum, which attract companies, public sector agents, media, and investors from dozens of countries, facilitating contacts and international business for Spanish biotech companies. We also accompany our partners on their path to internationalizing their innovations by participating in some of the major international biotech events, aiming to facilitate their access to strategic markets.

In this way, AseBio has organized different delegations representing Spain at two important events: the Anglo Nordic Life Sciences conference and Swiss Biotech Days. Both activities are included in the ICEX Internationalization Plan for biotechnology companies, which we manage from AseBio, through which assistance is channeled to provide greater visibility for Spanish biotech companies at the main international events.

Anglo Nordic Life Sciences

On April 18th, the Anglo Nordic conference will gather over 350 guests in London, including representatives from biotechnology companies and investors from the UK and Nordic countries. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to establish new partnering/networking connections, and three companies will have the chance to present their business projects to an audience of specialized investors.

In addition to AseBio, the delegation includes:

  • Biomixing
  • Celtarys Research
  • Protein Alternatives
  • Kinsy
  • Mikrobiomik Healthcare.

Swiss Biotech Days

AseBio, Bioga, and Basque Health Cluster are coordinating a Spanish delegation to Swiss Biotech Days, an event taking place in Basel on April 22nd and 23rd.

In 2024, it will once again provide a platform for networking, engaging discussions, and exploration of advancements in research and development, manufacturing, data management, artificial intelligence, and innovative financing.
