Bio4 Campus: Revolutionizing Biotechnology in Europe

TECNALIA is leading a project to boost Serbia’s BIO4 Campus, aiming to strengthen its biotech competitiveness and foster closer collaboration with the Spanish ecosystem. The initiative is funded through the Spanish Government’s FIEM program.

TECNALIA, Spain’s leading applied research and technological development center, is leading a project to support the growth and strategic positioning of the BIO4 Campus in Serbia. This initiative aims to enhance the operational efficiency and business capabilities of the organizations within the Campus, while strengthening its role as a European hub for biotechnology.

By fostering collaboration between the Serbian and Spanish biotech ecosystems, the Project promotes knowledge exchange, talent attraction, and investment opportunities across borders.

Connecting Borders, Boosting Innovation

The main objectives of this project are:

  • Enhance the capabilities of BIO4 Campus organizations in R&D and business.
  • Strategically position BIO4 Campus as a European reference hub in biotechnology.
  • Support the definition and optimization of BIO4 d.o.o.’s business model.
  • Align BIO4 d.o.o.’s activities with the priorities of the biotech sector.

This work will result in: Increased operational efficiency; Strengthened capabilities in business development, technology management, and international collaborations.

Expected outcomes of the project are:

  • Elevated strategic positioning of BIO4 Campus.
  • Enhanced cooperation between Serbian and Spanish biotech communities.
  • Attraction of talent and investment.

The action is funded through the FIEM program of the Spanish government, as part of the continuous efforts to bring the two nations closer in business, science and biotechnology.
