Kimitec publishes its new products for the month of May

Kimitec's MAAVi enters into strategic partnerships with UPL, Sylentis from PharmaMar Group, and Nueva Pescanova

Aligned with the objectives of the European Green Deal and its Farm to Fork strategy, and aiming to achieve real sustainability on agriculture and the environment, Kimitec’s MAAVi Innovation Center, the largest research and development center focused on natural molecules and compounds for the agricultural industry in Europe, and one of the largest biotechnology hubs for natural agriculture worldwide, has recently reached strategic agreements with several partners, which will pave the way towards a healthier, more sustainable and more profitable global food production system. MAAVi joins forces with Sylentis, Nueva Pescanova and UPL for the research and development of new products based on natural compounds that will favor zero residue production.

Kimitec's MAAVi Innovation Center and Sylentis, from the PharmaMar Group, will collaborate in the development of natural RNA interference molecules for pest control

Kimitec and Sylentis, a biopharmaceutical company from the PharmaMar Group, enter hand in hand into the agri-food industry. Together, they will develop new treatment strategies based on siRNAs (short interference RNA). These natural molecules use the RNA interference mechanism (RNAi), a sustainable process in which gene expression is specifically reduced, to control plant pests and pathogens in a topical application system. They will also implement strategies for the development of siRNAs through fermentation processes, which are greener and more sustainable, instead of chemical-based processes.

Nueva Pescanova and Kimitec will improve, together, the health, nutrition and animal welfare of aquaculture species

UPL announces a strategic alliance with Kimitec's MAAVi Innovation Center for the commercialization of biosolutions in North America

UPL, the world leader in sustainable agricultural solutions, and its Natural Plant Protection (NPP) business unit have also recently announced a strategic collaboration agreement with Kimitec's MAAVi Innovation Center for the development and commercialization of biotechnology-based solutions in the United States.
