Madrid Science Park organizes Madrid Connect 2026
New Drug Discovery and Biomaterials, two of the event's three main pillars. The gathering offers debates, workshops, and 1-to-1 meetings with investors and corporations.
Under the slogan "Science, Talent, and Capital for a Global Future," Madrid Science Park will host the second edition of this major gathering on October 28 and 29 in Madrid. The event will bring together nearly 350 key figures from the science and technology innovation ecosystem.
European science boasts talent, knowledge, and technological prowess. However, there is still a pressing need to accelerate the journey from the laboratory to the factory, from initial research to a commercial product, and from a tech startup to a globally competitive enterprise.
Overcoming this hurdle is the goal of Madrid Connect 2026. The event features a dynamic agenda aimed at researchers, startups, corporations, investors, universities, technological centers, and institutions. Together, they will tackle from various perspectives one of European innovation's greatest challenges: translating scientific excellence into industrial, economic, and social impact.

Biotechnology is redefining the future
The 2026 program is built around three core pillars where Europe is staking much of its capacity to generate new industries: New drug discovery, Bioengineering, biomaterials, and advanced materials, and Quantum computing and communication.
Through a roundtable discussion and a specialized workshop, experts will explore how artificial intelligence, omics technologies, advanced computing, and biotechnology can accelerate the transition from a laboratory discovery to a therapeutic solution that reaches the patient.
Sessions will also analyze how biomaterials can transform entire industrial sectors and create new value chains by linking research, industrial capabilities, and the market to ensure these technologies can successfully scale.
Madrid as a connection hub
Madrid Connect seeks to bridge these capabilities with other international markets and ecosystems. In this edition, the dialogue between Europe and Latin America will take center stage, exploring new avenues for collaboration in technology, investment, talent, and market access.
