MIMO Biosciences,  spin-off founded by Dr. José Ángel Martínez Climent and linked to CIMA University of Navarra, has been awarded the EmprendeXXI 2025 Award, an initiative of CaixaBank through DayOne and the Ministry of Industry and Tourism through Enisa. This award recognizes MIMO as one of the most impactful startups in the Navarra region.

The company specializes in offering preclinical research services using genetically modified animal models to study hematological malignancies, such as multiple myeloma and lymphomas. These models, developed for more than a decade at CIMA, allow progress in the study and treatment of these diseases.

As part of the award, MIMO Biosciences will receive an economic endowment of 6,000 euros, access to a training program with ESADE, and the opportunity to participate in an internationalization program with ICEX, including a visit to Berlin.

Recently, the CEO of MIMO Biosciences, Ricardo Pérez Merino, was interviewed in Navarra Television, where they shared their scientific advances, their vision of the future and the key role of biotechnological innovation in the improvement of health.
