Natac announces the National Awards for Research in Natural Products
These awards aim to promote and recognize scientific excellence in the field of natural products and their applications for the health and well-being of people.
Natac (BME: NAT), a biotechnology company specialized in the sustainable production of botanical extracts and functional oils with proven health benefits, announces the first edition of the National Awards for Research in Natural Products.
These awards aim to promote and recognize scientific excellence in the field of natural products and their applications for the health and well-being of people. Specifically, they seek to encourage research and the development of knowledge in key areas such as applied biotechnology, the extraction of bioactive compounds and health, with a special focus on the responsible and efficient use of natural resources.
The Natac National Research Awards have two categories:
- Consolidated Researcher Award: a first prize of 10,000 euros and a second prize of 3,000 euros will be awarded.
- Prize for Young Researchers: a single prize of 2,000 euros will be awarded.

The jury in charge of evaluating the proposals and selecting the winners will announce its verdict before September 30.
