CHALLENGE AGROTECH GERMANY 2026

A program offering immersion in Germany's agritech ecosystem for Spanish companies with a strong focus on innovation and technology, interested in scaling their business model.

ICEX Spain Export and Investment, Red.es, and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office (OFECOMES) in Düsseldorf are launching the 2026 edition of the Agrotech Challenge Germany. The objective of this program, created by ICEX and Red.es, is to improve the scalability and growth of Spanish agritech companies, enabling them to compete globally and become leaders in the sector, positioning Spain as a technological leader in this field.

It is specifically designed for companies in the following sectors:

• Agricultural biotechnology, including applications in crops, biology, veterinary medicine, and livestock.
• Circularity and carbon sequestration applied to bioenergy, biomaterials, regenerative agriculture, and livestock. 
• Robotics, mechanization, and smart equipment, including machinery for agricultural and livestock farms, automotive, drone manufacturing, and cultivation equipment.
• Software for agricultural and livestock farms, including data capture devices, sensors, and big data analytics.
• Other Agrotech sectors.

• Workshops with strategic content, with a schedule that allows you to combine acquiring knowledge and experience with free time to implement your own personalized agenda.
• First-hand knowledge of the German ecosystem.
• Specialized mentoring and meetings with key organizations and players in the German ecosystem.
• Meetings and encounters with entrepreneurs who have success stories in Germany.
• The opportunity to build your own network of contacts, during and after your participation in Desafía Agrotech Germany.
• Access to the Alumni Network, where you can share experiences with companies from previous editions of Desafía.

Following the completion of the Alumni phase, with the support of the local expert, ICEX and Red.es will continue to energize the Desafía community with specific activities aimed at community members, including promotional activities, networking opportunities, and connections with other stakeholders in the ecosystem.
