ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in The Hague, is organising an ICEX session within the framework of the F&A NEXT Congress, which will take place in Wageningen (Netherlands) on May 20 and 21, 2026. This event is a global benchmark in agrifoodtech, showcasing the advances, innovations, and trends shaping the future of food system technology.
Participation in the congress on May 20–21 will be complemented by a welcome reception on the evening of May 19, where Spanish companies will meet representatives from the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in The Hague and gain an initial overview of the Dutch market.
The call is open to all Spanish agrifoodtech companies with a strong technological and innovative component, offering disruptive solutions, ingredients, or next-generation products:
- Novel food and alternative proteins
- Food safety
- Next-generation ingredients resulting from technological developments (including nanotechnology, precision fermentation, among others)
- Sustainable food solutions
- Foods produced through vertical farming
- Agritech solutions for agriculture, livestock, or aquaculture
The main objective of this session is to showcase the potential of Spain’s agrifoodtech offering in the Netherlands, increase its presence in the market, and foster connections between Spanish companies and institutions and the local Dutch ecosystem, as well as an international audience. It will allow companies to gain first-hand insight into the agrifoodtech sector in the Netherlands, its outlook, and identify demand and business opportunities for exporters of services and products in the sector. In addition, participation will help delegations (associations, investors, technology centres) increase their visibility in both local and international markets, collaborate with local agents and institutions, accelerators, corporates, incubators, and connect with potential investors.
