Chief Technology Officer

MiMARK is an awarded spin-off company focused on improving Women’s Health. We are specialized in the discovery and validation of clinically impactful biomarkers in gynecological fluids to provide with innovative diagnostics across gynecology indications. In MiMARK we envision these fluids as the next step liquid biopsy in the gynecological arena.
Our first product, WomEC, is an IVD for a high-quality diagnosis of endometrial cancer. Our product is currently in the prototype development phase using expertise in complex matrix pre-analytics, antibody-based technologies, together with algorithm and software analysis.

We are seeking for you!

We are seeking an individual with a high level of expertise in developing IVD products based on antibody-based technologies, together with a high level expertise in managing complex matrix samples, to be the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in MiMARK. This person will work hand in hand with the MiMARK team to build the next step liquid biopsy in gynecology, and will lead the development of WomEC and future IVD products in the company.

Responsibilities

•  Define the product development route map for MIMARK IVD products.
•  Guidance to the technical team to the whole product development process, from the onset of prototype design to analytical and clinical validation.
• Research to standardize preanalytical conditions on gynecological fluids to be used in clinical practice.
• Identify needs and requirements to adapt on different IVD-platforms.
• Account for the revision and preparation of required QMS and regulatory documentation.
•  Management and coordination of the technical team.

 
Requirements

Experience in product development of IVDs based on antibody technologies (ELISA, chemiluminescence, etc.)

• Track record in the IVD development field, from prototype development, analytical and clinical validation, to regulatory approval
• Experience in oncology and/or women’s health (desirable)
•  IVD related software tools’ understanding (desirable)
• Team management and entrepreneurial spirit
•  Passionate, well-organized, decisive, and committed
