BIOSPAIN 2023 takes bronze in the “Best Congress” category at the XIX edition of the eventoplus Awards
The eventoplus Awards are the top accolades for the events and meetings sector in Spain and Portugal, and the award ceremony took place on September 17.
BIOSPAIN 2023, a leading international event in the biotechnology sector organized in Barcelona by AseBio, in collaboration with Biocat, the Barcelona City Council, and the Government of Catalonia, has been awarded bronze in the “Best Congress” category at the XIX edition of the eventoplus Awards, held in Madrid on September 17. BIOSPAIN 2023 competed in this category against congresses held in Spain and Portugal in 2023 across various sectors, among submissions presented by professionals from the events and congress sector.
This is a particularly special recognition, as this edition broke the record for submissions, with 266 entries, highlighting the quality and impact of BIOSPAIN as one of the must-attend events for biotechnology on both a national and international level.
This important recognition was achieved jointly with AM Conferences & Meetings for organizing the latest edition of BIOSPAIN, held between September 26 and 28, 2023, in Barcelona.
The eventoplus Awards recognize excellence in the events and meetings sector in Spain and Portugal. Their mission is to improve and professionalize the industry, promote best practices, stimulate creativity, recognize the talent and involvement of all players (suppliers, agencies, clients), and foster pride in this significant sector.
BIOSPAIN 2023, celebrating its 20th anniversary, gathered nearly 2,200 participants from 34 countries, representing almost 1,000 companies. It also featured more than 200 exhibitors, the presence of over 60 international investors, and 5,000 bilateral meetings between entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and scientists.
