BIOLAN continues its commitment to certification and international recognition of its biosensors
This latest recognition is of vital importance for BIOLAN, which sees how the technological advances of its products (3000 and 7000 series) continue to maintain a high level of quality and usefulness, but also for its customers, giving them confidence and security in the products.
BIOLAN, since its beginnings, has been committed to the continuous certification of its products, not only to increase the confidence of its already consolidated customers, but also to obtain international recognition that certifies the robustness of its technology, facilitating the access of its products to different international markets, in its commitment to internationalisation and global vocation.
In 2016, BIOLAN joined the select club of the American association AOAC International, an international reference body in analytics and laboratory, with the biosensor BIOFISH 300 HIS, an analytical method for the quantification of histamine concentration in fish products, adopted by more than 500 fishing and processing companies around the world. In 2021 BIOLAN launched the successor to this model, the BIOFISH 3000 HIS device, with which it also obtained the prestigious revalidation of the product before the AOAC, obtaining the Performance Tested Method PTM AOAC 051604 certificates, which have been renewed again this past month, demonstrating that it maintains the same level of demand for precision in the quality of its products.
BIOLAN, aware of the importance of being able to offer customers analytical methodologies that have the protection and recognition of international organisations, allocates a very important part of its research and technological effort to expanding the range of products backed by the AOAC, an international reference body in analytics and laboratory. As a result, in 2022 and 2023 it obtained the highest international recognition granted by the AOAC, the OMA (Official Methods of Analysis) certificate for its BIOMILK 3000 and BIOFISH 3000 SUL equipment, for the quantification of lactose in low-lactose and lactose-free products, as well as for the quantification of sulphite in the crustacean sector.
