At BioMixing we are expert in scaling processes and optimization of bioreactors. We have developed a new agitation/aeration system for bioreactors (patent pending) that uses concepts of aeronautics and fluid dynamics to reduce cell damage and optimize mixing in the bioreactor. The new system reduces processing times (-50% -75%), as well as shear stress (cell damage) and can be used both, in new systems and to modify bioreactors from other brands. We also optimize large bioreactors to reduce energy consumption.

We are interested in future collaborations related to biomixing in biotechnological processes across various sectors, including agroindustry, therapeutic cell culture (e.g., HEK cells), industrial fermentation, and bioenergy production. Specific interests include improving mixing and mass transfer in bioreactors, optimizing fermentation performance for food and feed applications, scaling up bioenergy processes in pilot plants, and enhancing bioproduction efficiency in therapeutic applications.
